The historic Vineyard Hotel ia situated in the leafy suburb of Newlands in Cape Town and has been restored to much of its original charm. The Vineyard was originally built as a country house for Lady Anne Barnard in 1799.

The Vineyard is also an ideal starting point for a visit to some of the Cape's other attractions. The warm waters and white sandy beaches of False Bay and the spectacular views from Chapman's Peak are a few minutes away, a drive to Cape Point Nature Reserve takes only 45 minutes, the centre of cosmopolitan Cape Town, South Africa's mother city, is less than half an hour.
