KRUGER
& LOWVELD CLIMATE |
The subtropical
climate zone is evident the Lowveld, where summer
temperatures can ascend above 40 degrees. Rainfall
here averages 800 mm per year, and the summer months,
are relatively humid and muggy. The rainy season usually
starts in September and lasts until the end of April.
The climate is much more bearable in the dry winter
months of June - August. Then the days are pleasant
and the nights a little cool. This is the ideal
for animal viewing and exploring the area.
