KNYSNA
- GENERAL INFORMATION |
Positioned between lush forests and a peaceful lagoon,
Knysna is a town with a captivating history and allure
and is residence to several artists.
Most guests to the area incorporate a walk through
the forests, and with names like The Garden of Eden,
it is a great place to hug an ancient tree.
Birdwatchers have immense pleasure spotting the Knysna
Loerie, one of the abundant species which make this
area a birders paradise.
Between Knysna and George, one can explore the original
road along the Seven Passes Route, meandering through
indigenous forest, beside lake shores and over rivers
by way of narrow crossways.
