Apart from our resident bird life, monitor lizards, and inquisitive squirrels, there are nightly visits from several large crocodiles, and more often than not, at least one member of the magnificent leopard family.

Samburu Lodge is beautifully situated on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River with a wide choice of accommodation spread up and down the river in cottages, bandas and single or twin rooms, all facing the river. Everything is geared to making the most of the lodge's spectacular setting. The dining room is open on the riverside with long tables and large buffets. Every guests enjoy time honoured hospitality and service, and the mouth watering cuisine prepared by our team of chefs. The very popular Crocodile Bar overhangs the water and is a great vantage point for the nightly feeding of the crocodiles.
