Latest Feedback from Clients on their African safaris and vacations in 2010

"Janice, thank you to you and your colleagues in Greenlife for all that you did in arranging our family holiday in South Africa. Giving us excellent advice prior to the trip, understanding what we wanted, ensuring we got the best available deals, making sure that all the arrangements went smoothly and being available for advice and help during the stay. Your professionalism, attention to detail and genuine interest in us was very apparent.
This is our third time using Greenlife for our visits to Africa and I have strongly recommended you to other people I know who have or are considering a visit to South Africa.

"Jenny and I loved it. The Gorah Elephant Camp staff were really wonderful. The game was plentiful, especially elephant. The ambience in the homestead was great not to mention the food! All in all, ten out of ten."

"Dear Tanya, the trip was very pleasant. The weather was fine, there was always sun. We very much liked Ivory Tree Game Lodge, it definitely was what we expected. The drive games were of a good quality, especially the ranger Peter; he spent quite some time trying to track the animals in order for us to see them. That was great! We almost saw "the big 5". We did see elephants, rhinos, buffalos, lions, crocodile, hippopotamus, zebras & giraffes.
The food was simple but healthy. The staff was very efficient. I would recommend Ivory Tree Game Lodge."

"Dear Tanya thanks again for your help in making this yet another enjoyable trip for us. Of course Hluhluwe is so different from Kruger and we found the Umfolozi section of the reserve better than Hluhluwe section in terms of sheer animal density and the ease in viewing game. The northern part is much more hilly and hence not the easiest to spot game in.
Skukuza Rest Camp & Thornybush Serondella Lodge were both excellent and the African hospitality in all the places we have stayed has never been a disappointment for us. Isibindi Thonga Beach Lodge was an interesting experience and it is still amazing as to how this part of the world still has miles and miles of unpopulated beach - in Europe it is difficult to find a place to stick an umbrella and that too on a beach which has been artificially set up. Once again thanks for all your help."

"Hi Tanya, I loved the whole experience and we were lucky with the weather, may be one day it was really hot but the rest of the time it was very warm and pleasant. (Skukuza Rest Camp & Thornybush Serondella Lodge).
I especially enjoyed the walks on the lovely deserted beach at Isibindi Thonga Beach Lodge. It is very surreal to walk for miles and not to meet anyone. We also were taken on a nice road trip around a lake Sibaya, which was great. We saw loads of fish eagles and the nature is mind blowing. I fell in love with the area.
It was also great to see that the local people are involved in running the place. It was a completely different experience to the previous ones. Once again we are very grateful to you for organizing this trip for us."

"We have just got home today from Thornybush nKaya Lodge. Had the time of our lives - everything was so well done - from the different chocolates on the pillows every night to the meal settings - different most meals. The food was scrumptious; it was luxury but not the usual impersonal thing. Leanne was lovely and a great hostess. Johannes was lovely and a great guide. The wondrous Andries - tracker extraordinaire.
We saw everything- one day it was as if the waterhole involved had been set up - three lionesses had killed a buffalo, hippos in the water, spoonbills, and vultures in the trees. Cheetahs, leopard, lions, lionesses, buffalo, hippos, elephants including two adolescents playing, giraffe including 2 males fighting, zebras, warthogs, impala, heaps. On a walk saw all sorts including tarantulas nest.
Amazing. And Johannes so knowledgeable and obviously loves it all. And when a young male lion walked round the Landover......awesome. We can't praise highly enough."

"Dear Janice thanks very much for your emails. Yes, we were upgraded at Zululand Tree Lodge and very nice it was too! We had Nyala browsing under our chalet, saw most of what we hoped to see and were well fed and looked after. Everyone enjoyed themselves, although the teenagers struggled a bit with the 05.15 wake-up calls.
Our impressions of South Africa are very favorable after our first ever visit. It's very clean everywhere and we saw lots of smiling faces. Thanks for the organization."

"Thanks once again for organizing everything. I had a fantastic time on this trip. The places we've visited were amazing and the group and the crew were great, so it was a lot fun. In the future I'll definitely want to do other trips in Southern Africa. (21 DAY OVERLAND VICTORIA FALLS TO CAPE TOWN SAFARI)"

"Dear Janice, thank you so much! We had an amazing time - and now we have come back to England and its snowing! We both want to be back in Africa!! Umlani Bush Camp was wonderful - the only reason I would not recommend it is that we don't want it to be booked up for when we go back!! The hosts were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived and our rangers Moses and Shadrack were phenomenal!
Thank you again- we couldn't have wished for a more perfect holiday and Umlani was definitely the highlight!"

"We had to come home after a wonderful couple of days in Botswana - it certainly was an once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Jao Camp and Mombo was an excellent combination, and all arrangements were perfect in every way. Thank you again for your assistance and recommendations - we will surely be making use of your services in the future. Many thanks & kind regards from a still nippy Germany."

"Janice, thank you so much for your very kind email. We truly had a wonderful time at Reillys Rock Lodge! We were so pleased to stay in the Garden Cottage - I had no idea that's what we had booked through you! It was such a delightful place to stay with my parents - we built a fire every night! We saw a just born roan antelope and I even fed and petted the bush babies. Ruth was a dream come true.
Needless to say, we will DEFINITELY be back! Thanks for following up!"

"Hi Janice, the weather was a little annoying. I think we had more rain than in the wet season. The places were however very nice. We had a very nice trip and thank you again for your help.(Visited Serenity Forest Eco Reserve; YaMati & Olivers Restaurant and Lodge)"

"Xakanaxa Camp was awesome. We went to 3 camps in Botswana and Xakanaxa Camp was our favorite by far. Part of reason was the setting on the Delta. And for certain the physical accommodations were the best we've seen. Our guide (Ollie) was very knowledgeable and shared this in a delightful way."

"We are safely back from Vic Falls and I just wanted to write to say how much we all enjoyed Matetsi Water Lodge - stunning location and very friendly staff. Thanks for all your help in arranging our trip."

"We are back from Elephant Hills Hotel and had an excellent time. All the arrangements were done perfectly and all went well. We booked additional activities through Wild Horizons after we arrived at the Falls (sunset cruise, heli flip, elephant back safari, zipline and a full day Chobe excursion). They are highly recommended.
Thanks again for your arrangements and the confirmation of arrangements before we left. As already indicated earlier you were the quickest to respond to our request by far and we have only had excellent service from you. It is much appreciated. There is absolutely nothing we can recommend for improvement and can recommend your company (and Wild Horizons) without any reservations. "

"Tanya, we had an amazing time on our Safari at Thakudu River Camp. There was only one hiccup (we arrived after the gate keeper had gone home and were almost locked out of the reserve) but it all ended well and with a great story to tell friends. We'll be glad to share feedback and photos as soon as I have time to catch up with everything. Thank you so much."

"Hi Tanya, we're back home in Hong Kong now but wish we were still in South Africa. It was a great trip. Raf really liked Victoria Falls and Ilala Lodge and wished we could stay another night. Thank you very much for helping to arrange for dinner and the tours. I'll be sure to tell all my friends who want to visit South Africa about Greenlife and I'll leave a FB comment as well. Thanks again."

"All went well with Gorges Lodge and Chobe Safari Lodge and the transport between them worked fine. Chobe game viewing was phenomenal and the package you recommended was perfect - the 5 activities were really well organised and gave us a great range of things to do. At least 2 of us proved to be very successful tiger fishermen!"
