Feedback from Clients on their African safaris and vacations in 2006

"Our trip to Victoria Falls was excellent. We managed to have superb weather for the 4 days.
The trips to the Falls, helicopter flight, sunset cruise and day trip to Chobe River/Reserve were all unbelievable!
Ilala Lodge was ideal for us, a small, neat, quiet "colonial style" hotel with friendly staff, a very visible and helpful manager and good food. "

"We had a simply magical trip, the stuff that dreams are made of and I would return in a heartbeat if finances would allow. Thank you so much for all your help and advice. I would certainly recommend you to anyone headed your way. Any chance you're setting up offices in Asia or South America?? Only kidding!

Thanks again, the reassurance of knowing that you were there at the end of a phone line was great. "

"I would really like to thank you for your impressive service, and would like to point out the quality of service of all staff at Sandibe. Thank you for forwarding our sincere thanks to CCAfrica & to the lodge staff.

The lodge staff did everything possible to make us enjoy our Okavango safari & provided excellent & tailor-made services until the very last minute of our stay. "

"We thought Tsala Treetops was one of the most relaxed and romantic hotels we have ever stayed in and that means a lot because we all travel the world on business and are no strangers to fine hotels.!

We were very impressed with t he little personal touches such as the champagne aperitif in our room before a very fine dinner and, of course, the personalised menu for our honeymoon dinner."

"The stay at Kosi Forest Lodge was really enjoyable. All the facilities were excellent and the food and service was amazing. We had a really wonderful time, and would recommend the lodge.

Many thanks for your mail, it is not often that this kind of follow up is done."

"Chobe Chilwero was a real blast. The hospitality, the professionalism, and the place were all marvelous.

Particularly impressive were Rob, Heidi, Patrick and Pamela, as well as Gilbert, our Safari guide. They did not disappoint. I would indeed recommend Chobe Chilwero. "

"We were very happy staying at the Vilanculos Beach Lodge. The people are incredibly friendly, service orientated and accommodating. From kayaking up and down the coast we came to the conclusion, that the location of 'our' hotel was the best as it had beautiful grounds, a lovely stretch of beach with grassy shades, which only one other hotel had. The food was very good and not as expensive as we feared, having read a reader's letter in the Getaway magazine. Eating out at a recommended hotel did not change our view, that the food at the Lodge was the best as far as freshness, variety and taste was concerned. We can certainly recommend it without any reservations whatsoever. "

"The staff at Chitabe are absolutely fantastically lovely - Celine is great and the energy between management and the waiters/chefs very comfortable, guides very knowledgable and friendly, personable, we saw everyting, it was wonderful. Kwetsani is breath takingly beautiful and we did really enjoy our time there. I couldnt get over these jeeps withi the water nearly coming in over the sides. Unbelievable. The river club was such a dramatic change - so proper and english after the other two.

Chitabe may have been my favorite entirely due to the people but Kwetsani was jaw-dropping for its beauty. Hope you enjoy the pictures and thanks again for helping to trace my bags. i can't thank you enough."

"This was another EXCELLENT adventure for which we are greatly indebted to you and the rest of the Greenlife and Wilderness Safari teams!

We saw incredible amounts of wildlife (albeit not as varied as last year). We came to conclude that Little Vumbura offers the greatest variety of any place we’ve been.

Based upon our experiences last year and this, we decided that we will tell anyone coming to Africa that they should include Simbambili, Little Vumbura, Duba Plains and Savuti in their itinerary if they want the “fullest” experience. Spending two days at Duba following lions tracking a herd of buffalo and watching them make a “kill” of a female buffalo and her newborn calf was incredible.

As always, we stand ready to serve as a reference for your fine services. ONCE AGAIN - WELL DONE!!!! Thanks for everything."

"First, thank you for doing a great job. You nicely answered all my questions, were always prompt getting information for the bookings, and, now that we have done the trip, I can say you picked the type of places we like and requested. Greenlife also has a good reputation with the places we stayed, and that was pleasant to hear. Our trip went without fault.

Thornybush - N'Kaya was quite new, up market and clean. Food was good, hosts very nice. Elephant Plains was terrific. Location was lovely. Pool and public areas superb. Staff very friendly. Rangers were terrific and well trained. Game viewing was spectacular.

Franschhoek Inn was exactly what we asked for - a small hotel well appointed and well located. Location was terrific. Franschhoek is a lovely little town, and the Inn is in town so walking around was easy. We had dinner one night at the hotel and it was excellent. Stillness Manor is a lovely, well kept secret, while The Commodore has a very good location, on the tourist bus line, and very easy to get around. Good dining in hotel and near by. Hotel very clean and staff well trained and friendly.

Our impression of South Africa! What a beautiful country, what diversity...and I will happily recommend you and Greenlife to anyone."

"Our stay at Entabeni was fantastic. The accommodation was very good with stunning views. Our game ranger was excellent and tailored the drives to suit us. The children thoroughly enjoyed their horse safaris – the horses were very well trained and altogether, the lodge was a great place for a family to visit.

We had quite a close call with a rhino which the kids particularly thought was awesome."

"Shibula was a fabulous break for us all. Lots of relaxation. Food was good and people friendly and helpful. Accomodation was 5 star. Ranger Darren was very keen and provided informative detail on wildlife etc.

Thank you very much for all your help with the booking and information."

"We had a very good time in South africa, and Simunye Zulu Lodge is one of the best place we have been during our travels. My parents were very impressed and we do not regret our choice.

All was beautifull, landscape, people, ox chariot...."

"We had a brilliant time in Botswana and Cape Town. Thank you for assisting us with our bookings etc. and for ensuring that we got to visit the camps that we had chosen. All of us had different opinions on most things but one thing we all agreed on was that Kwetsani was our favourite camp for the overall style and feeling of the place - the rooms were perfectly laid out and totally private and we all enjoyed the walkways between the main building and our rooms!

The game viewing was without a doubt best at Savuti as we saw almost everything on our first full day! We have some great memories of our holiday and ask that you pass on our thanks to all the staff at the 3 camps we visited."

"We had a brilliant time. We finally got to see cats- both lion and cheetah so it made our trip!

Madikwe River Lodge was excellent. We were well looked after in a friendly and welcoming manner and nothing was too much trouble. A good team spirit existed amongst the staff which was refreshing to see and our guide, Ignatius was a star fiinding 4 of the big 5! (only the elusive leopard was missing but we cant complain about that)."

"Firstly everything was very well organized. My son and I were greatly impressed by the itinerary , the quality of the lodges and services, every flight was exactly on time and very courteous.

The piece de resistance for our winding down, was in Zambia - the River Club was absolutely fabulous, and I will be highly recommending it as well as the other lodges to my friends. I will be checking with another of my sons to see if we can return next year or certainly by 2008."

"Thank you for an unbelievably fantastic vacation!!! I cannot put into words how seeing the animals in their natural habitat made me feel. All of our group were very happy with all the arrangements.

We loved Little Vumbura and the people who work at this camp are wonderful. Victoria Falls was breathtaking, but Zimbabwe is very unstable and I would have felt unsafe if we had not been a party of six. Mala Mala was as advertised! It was very plush and we enjoyed every amenity. Our room was fantastic. The ranger and tracker were very knowledgeable and we saw almost every animal that we wanted to. We loved Cape Town and wish we had another day or two to spend there. The weather was perfect.

It has been delightful working with you and members of group are already talking about returning in the future."
