This reserve set among the acacia bushveld, open grass plains, Combretum and riverine forest of the Mpumalanga Lowveld has an astonishing variety of game that wanders free in exceptionally wild surroundings. It is bordered in the south by the Sabie River, which separates it from the Kruger National Park. Like its peers, Sabi Sabi offers first class lodge accommo-dation, excellent cuisine and the best professional rangers and trackers whose services are available around the clock. The reserve is situated within one of Southern Africa''s oldest reserves, the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, and one of its main assets is the fact that it lies in the middle of traditional migration routes of animals from the Kruger National Park.

Selati Camp - Apart from the abundance of wildlife, Sabi Sabi has an excellent reputation for the high standard of its accommodation and service. Eight air-conditioned thatched suites, including the Lorenzo Marques Honeymoon Suite and Ivory Presidential Suite beautifully located on the banks of the Msuthlu River (between the Sabie and Sand Rivers) in the northern part of Sabi Sabi Game Reserve. There''s a turn-of-the-century style and decor to the thatched chalets here. The African ambience is enhanced by the use of gas geysers for hot water, and paraffin lamps and lanterns instead of electric lights. Home cooked cuisine is served on open verandas overlooking the riverbed, while dinner is enjoyed in an open-air boma.
