DESCRIPTION

Rovos Rail Vic Falls to Pretoria

A 2 night / 3 day Luxury train journey starting in Victoria Falls and ending in Pretoria. The adventure departs the incomparable Victoria Falls on the mighty Zambezi River. This special journey departs in the morning and stops at the Hwange Game Reserve for sundowner drinks. Continue in a south-easterly direction. Zimbabwe border formalities will take place at Beit Bridge and then, very slowly the train will ease itself into South Africa. Few sights are more evocative of primeval Africa than the eerie silhouette of a Baobab tree starkly outlines against a ruddy African sunset. The train slowly meanders south towards Bela Bela, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn just before the station of Soekmekaar. The Journeys end at the Rovos Rails gracious station at Capital Park in Pretoria.

(There is also the option of travelling in a Royal Suite at an addtional surcharge or the new Pullman Suites which would be less expensive).
