The Lodge comprises 17 Double or Twin en-suite Bedrooms, the majority of which have been redecorated. The design and character of the rooms are as individualistic as the Lodge itself. All rooms have a veranda with comfortable chairs for lazing in the peaceful surroundings, or watching the animals and birds. The Terrace, shaded by enormous old Mango Trees, enjoys magnificent views over mature, carefully tended gardens to the Sanctuary beyond. An ideal spot for sundowners or just sitting, relaxing and soaking up the unique atmosphere. The Lounge, with its enormous picture windows and comfortable furniture, provides for complete relaxation in intimate surroundings. The Bar is well stocked with a wide selection of spirits, beers and minerals, complemented by a carefully selected collection of fine wines. The Fine Dining Room provides the perfect setting for a relaxing meal, prepared and served by our attentive yet very discreet staff. The Gazebo with its own private terrace provides the perfect venue for both formal and informal events.
Two of the rooms at Mount Meru Game Lodge have been earmarked for use by disabled guests. They are very spacious, easily accessible and conveniently located to all of the main public areas of the Lodge to include the Game Sanctuary. One room has twin beds whereas the other has a king sized bed so as to provide our disabled guests with greater flexibility. Our guests also contribute financially towards the cost of looking after the animals since approximately 10% of the room revenues are spent on staffing, food and the general well-being of all of our rescued animals. A very worthwhile cause we feel sure you will agree.
