The area around Pemba offers turquoise seas, palm-fringed beaches, excellent diving, gamefishing and thrilling (foot) safaris. Pemba has a few high-end hotels, beach resorts, a casino, an international airport and proper medical facilities. Up to now tourism has not made a serious impact yet which gives the visiting tourists a true feeling of exclusivity, privacy and adventure in an untouched part of east Africa.

Watersports include excellent snorkeling right of the beaches, superb reef and wall scuba diving, deep sea and fly fishing, windsurfing, dhow trips, water skiing, boat trips to uninhabited islands and canoeing in traditional cascinha's. The abundant coral reefs around Londo Lodge are virtually unexplored and have an amazing diversity of marinelife. Gamefishing around Pemba and the Quirimbas Archipelago, with the renowned St Lazerus bank, is widely considered as one of the best in the world.
Safari and bush walks in and around the Quirimbas National Park give a new meaning to the safari business. Northern Mozambique has large areas of virtually undiscovered bush areas in Africa and Londo Lodge offers unique opportunities to discover these vast areas.
