The main lodge is flanked
by secluded chalets which are built on stilts, with woven
reed walls, wooden floors and thatched roofs. The 13 chalets
are 10-15 metres apart and all have views overlooking the
beach and sea. They are all double rooms (5 double beds and
the rest are twin bedded) with an en-suite bathroom with shower.
A verandah/balcony overlooks the sea. The chalets are built
in an indigenous Acacia and Natal Mahogany forest 20 metres
from the sea. The lounge / dining room / bar area is separate,
with a large airy patio overlooking the beach and sea across
lawns and trees where attractive red tailed squirrels play.
The Lodge boasts a new addition of a swimming pool (2004).
