Environmental Policy: The Islands of Siankaba have been designed to minimise any negative effects on the environment yet maximise the standard of the lodge for the comfort of the guests. The design and landscaping of all the facilities incorporates the use of natural materials that blend in with the feel of the surrounding bush and takes full advantage of the beauty of the riverside site.

The two islands are linked by a suspension bridge and overhead walkway in the tree canopy. A classic forested retreat, seven secluded chalets linked by a footbridge to dining room offering haute cuisine and a bar area.
The uniquely designed chalets are constructed of teak and custom-made canvas tenting and
are raised well above ground levels in the tree canopy. Private balconies extend over the river.
All chalets have Victorian baths and showers. They are linked by a winding over-head
walkway, keeping guests safe and protecting the fragile riverine environment. Finishing is of an
extremely high standard using imported fittings to compliment the natural feel of the
construction materials used.
In-room facilities include en-suite bathrooms, large private decks overlooking the Zambezi River, mini bar, ceiling fan, mosquito nets, private safe.

The principle guest amenities (dining room, lounge, bar and swimming pool) are located on the larger of the two islands.
Dining area – One of the distinctive features at The Islands of Siankaba is the excellence of our food and wines, developing a reputation for ‘haute-cuisine in the bush’ along with first class service.
Trumpeters Bar – Serving ice-cold drinks over-looking the Zambezi River.
Swimming pool – Situated on the larger island in a private environment surrounded by lush riverine forest.
Activities include guided birding and tree walks, guided fishing trips, sunset river cruises, canoe trips, visits to the local village and school, Spa treatments, trips to the Victoria Falls, guided tours of Livingstone, game drives, visit Chobe National Park and all adrenaline sports.
