Hobatere Lodge is located 80 km north of Kamanjab on the western border of the Etosha National park, and is situated in a concession area of 32 000 ha which is home to a wide selection of game.

Hobatere Lodge Attractions |
Hobatere Lodge is home to a wide selection of game, including elephant, giraffe, eland and Hartmann's Zebra. Ornithological trips to bird-watching are offered.
About 300 metres from the Lodge's swimming pool there is a hide overlooking a water hole where elephants and many more animals are often seen. Should you wish to relax at the pool, game can also be viewed from there.

The Lodge has 12 thatched bungalows with en-suite facilities. Excellent bush cuisine is served on the verandah as well as traditional "braais" at the boma. The lodge has a well stocked bar with a comprehensive wine list, a small curio shop, as well as comfortable lounge with a small library.

On offer are guided walks, game drives in open vehicles and also night drives, where many nocturnal animals, such as aardvark, cape fox, bat-eared fox, aardwolf, genets, and many more can be encountered. There is a rustic tree-house about 5 kms from the lodge overlooking a water hole, where two people can overnight.
