The Lodge was formerly the village police station and built as a trading store in 1882.

Greyton Lodge is a charminlgy renovated collection of cottages, typical of the village and set around a delightful garden of lawns, fruit trees, vines and roses.
The 15 country style guestrooms, all en-suite have been individually decorated, giving each its very own touch of country charm. In 1993/96/97/98 Greyton Lodge won the Diner's Club's award for their wine list and in 1998 the Lodge's chef was voted chef of the year in the Cape Overberg region.
There are 2 well equipped, air-conditioned conference rooms, a library and venue for weddings.
