Fundu Lagoon Resort Attractions
Dive 710 at Fundu Lagoon, consists of a team of P.A.D.I. approved diving instructors, a newly equipped dive centre, and a fleet of boats to cater for divers, snorkellers, and a full range of water sports and charters.
One of the highlights is the fluorescent bay. At night the phosphorous in the water reacts, and the result when you put your hands in the water, is breathtaking - it lights up like a torch. You can see fish chasing each other and many different unique sea dwelling creatures. Unfortunately this does not happen all year round, but there is always something happening to attract your attention in this little bit of paradise.
Fundu Lagoon Resort Facilities
The rooms are raised on wooden platforms, all offering stunning ocean views, and are constructed using luxury tents with traditional Zanzibar roofing to maintain the natural feel of the resort. The stylish external design provides a backdrop for the generously furnished interiors; each bungalow has its own balcony and en-suite facilities, hand crafted from local hardwood. The modern ethnic design extends throughout the resort, which offers two bars, a game and television room, chill out areas and an excellent restaurant serving local and international cuisine.
