Sefofane,
our preferred air charter operator, was formed in 1991.
Their focus is to provide an efficient, safe and reliable
service to guests. Sefofane pilots are carefully selected
from the outset to ensure the right combination of personality
and aptitude for the company. After selection they are rigorously
trained to ensure that a culture of safety and excellence
is perpetuated.
Sefofane own and
operate a fleet of approximately twenty aircraft –
Cessna 206s, 210s and Cessna Caravans. Additionally Sefofane
leases a diverse variety of aircraft, Beech King Air 200s,
Pilatus PC12s and occasionally larger aircraft.
Sefofane is also
licensed, registered and operates in Namibia, Zimbabwe and
South Africa. Their offices in Windhoek, Harare and Lanseria
Airport South Africa give Sefofane the most widespread footprint
of any charter company in southern Africa.
Sefofane is mainly
engaged in servicing the tourist industries in each country,
though it is also engaged in flying many corporate and government
clients as well. Moving discerning foreign guests between
remote locations is a business they know and understand
well. The average fleet age of Sefofane is younger than
the same aircraft operated by competitors. Aircraft are
meticulously maintained to ensure that the company delivers
a consistent and reliable service.
