The charming bedrooms, all en-suite and exquisitely furnished, form a courtyard around the sparkling pool and provide all the comforts to be expected of a superior hotel. The lower rooms and suites, having been built into the original stables with their side walls and wide portals, afford every facility; those situated on the upper floors have the additional benefit of high thatched roofs with skylights. Blaskets Restaurant Our Australian Head Chef, Michael Bridgeman is ably assisted by a young and experienced Brigade. He describes his food as healthy, light and visually appealing, using the best ingredients possible. This approach is culminated in the development of the Hotels herb and vegetable garden. Barrow Room This intimate room is best suited for private dining, equipped with a 12 - 14 seat dining room table and an open firplace. Skelligs Pub The Skelligs, true to Irish tradition, is full of charm. Situated in the garden, adjacent to the pool and sauna, the Skelligs is the perfect place for a traditional pub lunch or relaxing cocktails. Light lunches are served on the terraces, on the deck or by the sparkling salt chlorinated swimming pool. Blaskets Bar Situated in the hotel's Manor House, The Blaskets Bar has been tastefully incorporated into the new Blaskets Restaurant creating a warm contemporary setting. The Lounge area is an ideal place to unwind with a book or magazine in front of the roaring log fire or for an apperitif before dinner. During the Summer months the lounge opens out onto our timber deck, which nestles under the oak trees and overlooks the Gardens.

The Gary Player designed 18 hole championship golf course has fast become renowned throughout the international golfing fraternity and hosted the 1996 IGA World Cup of Golf. The gardens, having been landscaped in the traditional pattern of an old Cape Dutch homestead, offer pleasing walkways amongst formal rose gardens, through shady bowers with benches - perhaps to catch up on that long overdue novel - and, of course, via the inner gardens where you will discover the sparkling saltwater pool with it's enclosed deck for those more leisurely holiday pursuits. Above the estate lies the Helderberg Nature Reserve with its splendid hiking trails and magnificent vistas.
