Dune Hopper C1 - Detailed Information

DAY 1

Depart Eros airstrip for a scenic flight along the Naukluft mountains to the airstrip at Sesriem or Wilderness. Transfer to Kulala Desert Lodge. Light lunch and afternoon at leisure (e.g.at the swimming pool) during the heat of the day. As the sun starts to sink and the air cools down, enjoy a guided walk in the immediate vicinity of the lodge or join a sundowner drive before dinner.

DAY 2

This morning we leave early (around 06h00) with the Wilderness shuttle to the towering dunes of Sossusvlei. Visit and climb the highest dunes in the world, before transferring to Wolwedans, situated in the heart of the NamibRand Nature Reserve. Transfer to main camp in time for lunch. ln the afternoon you go on a guided scenic drive by Landrover, arriving at Wolwedans Dunes Lodge for sundowners. Enjoy a three course candlelight dinner under a blanket of 1000 stars.

DAY 3

Today you will enjoy a morning and afternoon drive or excursion on NamibRand Nature Reserve. Travelling through belts of vegetated red dunes, endless grassy plains and along mystical mountain formations, you will encounter large and small desert animals and learn about their unique habits. Lunch is served in the lodge. or, if you are taking part in an optional day-safari, you will have lunch en-route and return to the lodge in time for sundowners.

DAY 4

After a leisurely breakfast (if time and circumstance permits, you can still do a morning drive or excursion), you will be transferred to the airstrip for your return flight to Eros. End of safari.
