Desert Express 3 - Detailed Information

DAY 1

Check in at Windhoek Station at 13h30. 14:30 Depart from Windhoek (No lunch). Okahandja biltong stop. You can buy a variety of "biltong and droors". Dinner & overnight on the train at Kranzberg.

DAY 2

Arrive Walvis Bay. Passengers transfer to yacht club for a Dolphin/Seal cruise. On the cruise, you can make physical contact with the seals. Cross the bay to where the Dolphin are playing and then to Pelican Point. At Pelican point you will get closes up with a colony of Cape Fur Seals. Lunch on board of Catamaran. After lunch it's back to the yacht club and then proceed by bus to visit the salt pans, the Lagoon where you might seeing lot of Flamingos and after wards a visit to dune 7 and then back to Swakopmund
Dinner and overnight on the train.

DAY 3

Sight seeing tour around Swakopmund and to the Welwitchia planes and Moon landscape with a pick nick lunch in the Desert.
After lunch, depart for Otjiwarongo for overnight.

DAY 4

After breakfast. Depart by bus to Etosha southern gate at Okaukuejo. Check in, lunch, Rest and afternoon game drive. Evening can be spending at the spectacular water hole.

DAY 5

After breakfast travel to Halali on a slow game drive where you will check in, enjoy lunch and rest and then go for an afternoon game drive. After dinner, you can spend the evening at the water hole.

DAY 6

After breakfast go on a game drive towards the Namutoni gate where will exit and transfer to the train and depart for Windhoek. Dinner and overnight on the train at Otjiwarongo

DAY 7

Depart for Windhoek with breakfast and lunch on the train, visit craft market in Okahandja. Arrive Windhoek @ 14:00.
