Desert Express 2 - Detailed Information

DAY 1

Depart Swakopmund Station, times of departure are subject to change between various months of the year, but here is an estimated outline. Check in at 14h30 at Swakopmund Station Hotel and depart at 15h00. Our first stop is at Ebony where Ebony where we start the Spitzkoppe Excursion. Enjoy drinks & Relax (No children 10 years and younger) In the late evening we depart Ebony and you can relax and enjoy a delicious three course dinner. Later that night we will arrive at Friedrichsvelde, a perfect place for stargazing outside. We will spend the night here.

DAY 2

Early the next morning we depart Friedrichsvelde and watch the desert scenery from the train over breakfast. At 08h00 we will stop at Okapuka Ranch to watch lions feed up-close. (No children 10 years and younger). On the last leg of the journey you can do some game spotting from the your train window. We will pull into Windhoek Station at 10h30 where your journey ends.
