DAY
2
Hwange National Park : After an early start, we spend the day exploring Hwange to see what makes it Zimbabwe's premier National Park. We spend the day in search of some of Hwange's wildlife population, including the Big 5 lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. Hwange has a diverse landscape from open grassland to Kalahari sand in the southern area of the park to the hillier, heavily wooded areas in the north. We stop off at many of the artificial boreholes were herds of game congregate to slake their thirst. Some have viewing platforms where we have the opportunity to stretch our legs and gaze in awe at Africa's magnificent wildlife. We return to our camp on the boundary of the National Park for Sundown and a well earned rest. (B;L;D)
