The Marang is situated centrally on Botswana's western border with Gaborone, the capital 400 kilometres to the south. To the north, Kasane / Chobe national park and the Okavango delta are both 500 kilometres away. The town of Bulawayo in Zimbabwe is 200 kilometres west of Francistown, making the Marang hotel and casino an ideal overnight stop when touring Botswana.

There are 12 rondavels, 14 chalets, 22 executive rooms, 8 budget rooms and I cottage. 57 air-conditioned rooms with satellite television with the exception of the budget rooms, self-service tea and coffee facilities.
