THE Sunshine City of Harare is the main gateway into Zimbabwe for the air traveller, and offers all the conveniences of a developed nation. The city is reached internationally from London, Frankfurt and Sydney.
Many regional cities connect to Harare - Windhoek, Lilongwe, Lusaka, and Mauritius, while Johannesburg provides the most frequent connections.
Harare has some fine accommodation establishments, excellent golf courses, and is the ideal springboard for a self-drive tour to the east and south of Zimbabwe, or to take an air charter to the remote lower Zambezi region of Mana Pools and Matusadona.
