Situated in a corner of the Okavango Delta of Botswana, Moremi Wildlife Reserve covers more than 1 000 square kilometers of grassy floodplains, winding waterways, palm-fringed islands, forest and lush, lily-covered lagoons.
With its mix of wetlands and woodlands, Moremi is a park of exceptional beauty - and it is here that most of the game viewing in the delta takes place.
This is where hippos and crocodiles bathe and laze in crystal-clear waters, while the wide variety of vegetation is home to a magnificent collection of wildlife. Huge herds of impala and tsessebe roam the savanna, and waterbuck are common.
