As part of a commitment to the environment, the island does not have any electricity, so there is no airconditioning - but you can still get cold drinks at the bar! The dining room has views of the local harbour and serves a menu which accentuates the fabulous local seafood and famous spices, and catering to a wide variety of tastes. A well-stocked bar and cosy lounge area are also available for guests.

Water Sports: Snorkeling, Wind Surfing, and SCUBA diving. Swimming from Chole is possible for 6 hours a day around high tide. Fishing here is great, but you may need to bring your own equipment. Birdwatching, dhow trips, village tours, wildlife watching are all popular here.

Children between the ages of 2 to 12 who share a treehouse with adults are half price. Infants below 2 years of age are usually not allowed.
