Chestnut Country Lodge Location
The Chestnut Country Lodge is situated in the beautiful Kiepersol district near Hazyview in Mpumalanga and boasts magnificent mountain and valley views, together with luxury accommodation and fine dining.
The Lodge started out as a farmhouse on a 50 hectare farm with a variety of indigenous trees, rocky outcrops and arable farming land.
The name derives from the many Lowveld Chestnut trees on the property. These unusual spiky green pods once they fall to the ground, go brown and open, making a wonderful basket to hold our guest amenities in each bathroom. Unfortunately, these Chestnuts are not edible!
