TRAVEL: MAUN
- This is the primary gateway for travellers to
reach the Okavango Delta and Moremi complex. Most
travellers start their Botswana safari from Maun
and end at Victoria Falls, a 90 minute drive from
Kasane in the north-east of Chobe park. Access from
Maun into the Delta camps is by light aircraft.
Maun is serviced by scheduled flights from Johannesburg
and Windhoek. It is not necessary to overnight in
Maun as these scheduled flights arrive in time to
get travellers out into the bush in the early afternoon
in time to start their Botswana safari. |
