Serengeti National Park is the greatest wildlife preserve in Tanzania and one of Africa's premier safari destinations. With over 14 500 km2 of grasslands and acacia savannah, it is home to all of Africa's wildlife species and is most famous for the awe inspiring annual migration of millions of head of wildebeest, zebra and numerous antelope species, pursued and hunted by lion and other predators.
