The Maputaland coastline is very similar to southern Mozambique with miles of golden beaches in an unspoiled wilderness area and is a haven for angling, diving, snorkeling and relaxing in the sub tropical sunshine. It is best accessed by 4 wheel drive but driving on the beaches is not permitted as the fragile ecosystem is the breeding ground of endangered leatherback turtles.
