A to Z list of Livingstone Hotels and Safari Lodges

Livingstone is the Zambian town situated at Victoria Falls, which straddles the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia, and which is named after the famous British explorer, David Livingstone, who exclaimed that "scenes so lovely must have been gazed up by angels in their flight" when he first saw the magnificent waterfalls. Due to political and economic concerns about Zimbabwe, most travelers currently prefer to stay in accommodation in Livingstone. Day trips to the Zimbabwe side can be arranged with ease.

Livingstone is connected by many scheduled daily flights from Johannesburg. There is an excellent selection of accommodation across the prices range, but some of the favorites are River Club, Sussi Lodge, Stanley Safari Lodge and Tongabezi.
