A natural paradise for you to preview a fine selection of creatures ranging from the large game to the smallest birds and invertebrates of the African bush. Attractive herbaceous plants tower over Ebony, Fig, Olive and Waterberry trees of great botanical interest. The birdlife in the area is spectacular and special species to be encountered include the African Skimmer, Rock Praticole and Whitecrowned Plover. Several pairs of rare Taita Falcon breed in the gorge below the Falls. Other species in the area which are common include Trumpeter Hornbill, Collared Palm Thrush, Black Swift, Blue Waxbill and Brown Firefinch. Most of the larger mammals occur in the surrounding game sanctuaries.

The architecture of this "turn-of -the-century" style lodge conjures up images of colonial Africa whilst it's hill-top setting affords panoramic 360 degree views of the vast wilderness with the smoke of Victoria Falls rising on the distant horizon. The main building with it's wide, shady veranda, houses the elegant dining room with it's open fireplace, the wild-life library, a comfortable lounge and a well-stocked wine cellar. Each of the two L-shaped accommodation units have four twin rooms and a honeymoon suite. All rooms are en-suite.

From Sekuti's Drift you can participate in white water rafting, take a 15 minute flip in a light aircraft over the falls or cruise on the Upper Zambezi. Our knowledgeable game rangers will take you game viewing on foot or by vehicle. You can explore the curio shops in town, visit the Falls themselves, and then return to the magic and tranquility of a night in the bush.
