This area boasts over 200 species of fauna as well as 320 species of birds during the summer months.

Ulusaba Rock Lodge - the pride of Africa - welcomes you to a world of elegance set in custodial splendour overlooking the grasslands below. Your adventure will be one of spiritual awakening and a longing to return again to one of Africa's last great havens. The drive to the top of Ulusaba mountain will prove breathtaking, complemented by the majestic lodge that spans the cliff face, ever watchful over the sprawling wilderness below. The location seems to defy conventional perceptions - great rock boulders framing private rooms, whilst the dining suite is carved into the face of the living rock of Ulusaba. Rock Lodge has undergone a total rebuild/refurbishment programme, including a newly restyled living area and accommodation. Ulusaba Cliff Lodge opened April 2009 and consists of 2 lodges, able to sleep 5 adults and 4 children.
