5 day Overland Gorillas and Lake Safari

This 5 day/4 night trip starts in Kampala, Uganda and travels south through Uganda into the DRC finishing back in Kampala.
Trekking in the Virungu Mountains in the Parc de Volcans in the DRC in search of the mountain gorilla is one of the most memorable experiences that will stay with you forever. Once found you can sit meters away from these magnificent endangered creatures. A visit to see the gorillas will help to ensure their continued survival in their natural habitat.
Please note that this trip departs Kampala on a Thursday, very early morning. Should you wish to spend extra time there an earlier arrival should be planned and additional accommodation booked through your agent.Departure Point: Held at Red Chilli Hideaway, Plot 82, Sunderland Ave, Mbuva, Kampala at 05:00am.
We suggest that you arrive in Kampala the day before your trip departs, as we depart around 05h00 on day 1. Your crew will be at the departure point the night before departure to meet you.
